Eric & Polly Rapp: CDs

I'll Remember You, Love, in My Prayers

The Rapps' first CD features four songs by Eric, four traditional tunes, and four covers. The content ranges from secular to sacred; the sound is an intimate blend of vocals, acoustic guitar, and mountain dulcimer, without overdubs. Enjoy a private concert in your living room!

More Than Enough

Eric and Polly's second CD features a rich baker's dozen of originals complemented by two traditionals and one contemporary gospel-style song. Guest musicians–-on violin, upright bass, harmonica, and vocals–-provide frequent and delightful accents to the Rapps' smooth blend of guitar, dulcimer, and harmonies. And the songs themselves will make you laugh, bring tears to your eyes, and remind you that no matter how bad things look, there is Someone whose gift of grace is more than enough to compensate!

As Long As I'm Here

This compilation features the Rapps' song "Surprised by Joy" as well as contributions from Pamela Campau, Annie & Rod Capps, Tom Chapin, Foxfire, Stewart Francke, Anne Hills, John McCutcheon, David Mosher, Siusan O'Rourke & Zig Zeitler, Peter, Paul & Mary, Ann & Will Rowland, Matt Watroba, and Josh White, Jr. All proceeds of direct sales (i.e., sales by the artists) go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The CD reaffirms the value of life in songs that are variously contemplative and exuberant, acknowledges our need for each other, and considers the spiritual angles of the human condition in general and illness in particular. Good stuff all around!
